Terms of Use

Last updated: July 22, 2026

By using Maparkes you accept these terms. They're written to be clear, not to hide anything in fine print.

1. What Maparkes is

Maparkes is a directory of kid-friendly places and activities in Chile, with informational content: hours, prices, locations, and events. It's a guide to help you decide, not a booking service nor the operator of those places.

2. Your account

To save favorites, leave reviews, or get alerts you need an account. You must be of legal age and provide truthful information. You're responsible for your account's activity; let us know if you think someone used it without your permission.

3. What you post

The reviews, ratings, and photos you upload are yours. By posting them, you give us permission to show them inside Maparkes. In return, we ask that you:

We review content and may edit or remove anything that breaks these rules, to protect the community.

4. Place and event information

Hours, prices, and place details change, and events get rescheduled or canceled. We do our best to keep everything current, but we can't guarantee the information is always accurate. Confirm directly with the place before heading out, especially with kids.

5. Venue owners

If you own a venue, you can claim its listing to manage it. Low-risk changes (hours, contact, notices) publish instantly; substantive changes (name, description, categories) are reviewed before publishing. Claiming a listing does not grant ownership rights over Maparkes' content.

6. Subscription

Maparkes is free today. If we offer a subscription, its terms (price, length, renewal) will be shown clearly before you subscribe, and management and cancellation happen through your Apple or Google account.

7. Ownership

The Maparkes brand, its design, and the content we create belong to us. You may not copy them or use them commercially without permission. Your own content remains yours.

8. Liability

Maparkes is information to help you choose. We're not responsible for your experience at the places you visit or for services offered by third parties. Use your judgment, especially where children are involved.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile.
